Independently Assessed
Every clinic in the SKIN. directory undergoes a rigorous independent assessment. Our editorial team visits each clinic in person, reviews their facilities, verifies their AHPRA registrations, and assesses their clinical protocols.
We do not accept self-nominated listings. Clinics cannot pay to be included. The only path to the directory is through merit-based editorial review.

Fake Reviews Tolerated
Reviews are collected exclusively from verified patients. We cross-reference booking records, treatment receipts, and follow-up consultations where available.
Anonymous mass reviews are automatically rejected. Every review is tied to a real patient with a real treatment history at the clinic in question.

Dimensions Scored
Our editorial team produces an independent written verdict for every listed clinic. This verdict covers four dimensions: clinical outcomes, patient experience, practitioner credentials, and value transparency.
No clinic sees or approves their verdict before publication. The editorial team operates independently of any commercial relationship with listed clinics.
AHPRA
Registered Only
All Q&A answers are provided by AHPRA-registered practitioners. Every practitioner is identified by name and registration number, which can be verified on the AHPRA public register.
We do not publish advice from unregistered practitioners, beauty therapists, or anonymous sources. Patient safety is our first priority.

The final score is calculated on a 100-point scale. A score of 90+ indicates exceptional performance across all dimensions. 80–89 is strong. 70–79 is acceptable. Below 70, clinics are not listed.
Scores are recalculated quarterly. Clinics that fall below the threshold are removed. New clinics that meet the threshold are added. The directory is a living document, not a static list.
